SUMMARY
=======

Sounds! is a Windows utility which will allow you to assign .WAV files 
to different times of the day.  You can also assign a .WAV file to play
at a set time with the ALARM feature.  A floating toolbar is available 
too.  With that, you can assign up to six of your favorite sounds to
have easy access to!  New CD-ROM Player and sample .WAV files too.
Sound card is recommended.  Supports Windows 3.1+, Workgroups, Windows 
NT, and Windows 95!
        

INSTALLATION
============

To install Sounds! copy all files onto a blank formatted
disk (or into a temporary directory if you like!) and run 
"SETUP.EXE" from Windows.

The CD Player feature *requires* that you install SHARE.EXE in your 
AUTOEXEC.BAT file if you use Microsoft Windows 3.1:

Example:  C:\DOS\SHARE.EXE /L:500 /F:5100

If you are using Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, Win 95 or NT 
you do not have to add this line in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

                 - Improved CD Database capacity.

                 - Minor cosmetic fixes and online help updates.

                 - Fully tested with release versions of Windows 95,
                   and Windows NT 3.51.                 


Version 2.0      - Released 12/94

                 - This version incorporates some customer ideas as well as
                   some of my own.  

                 - Sample .WAV files added in shareware version, more 
                   sample files given in registered version!

                 - When Movable Toolbar is selected, the next time Sounds is
                   started it will remember where it was last placed!

                 - Other great features include:
                    
                   * A second alarm clock
                   * CD player with full CD database support!


Version 1.1      - Added sample .WAV files in Registered version 11/94.

                 - Released 9/94

                 - Minor installation bugs fixed!  I got reports of
                   failed installations on certain configurations.
                   (Weird bug)

                 - Optimized code a bit more.  Didn't make the
                   .EXE any smaller though.  :)


Version 1.0      - First Release of Sounds 8/94
               

Version 1.0 Beta - Although a very small but fun utility, Sounds was
                   tested on a variety of systems.  Including Beta
                   operating systems like Win 95,  Windows NT 3.5 
                   Workstation/Server without any problems.

                 - Windows for Workgroups 3.11 was tested along with
                   Windows NT 3.1 too.  Different sound cards as well
                   as the PC speaker was tested. :)

                 - Last but not least, Sounds! was tested on Windows 3.1. :)
